Where did the time go?

Flabbergasted, that's what we are. Little Bug has just passed her sixth month mark! It seems like just a little over five months ago Little Bug came to join us;) But seriously, I'm a little sad about it. Is she not now an elderly infant?! All I can say is, I don't think Andrew or I realized how much we would love this little thing! Since the first six months went so fast, my mind is already spinning thinking about what kind of cake to make for her first birthday.

New cloths are tasty

Here's Little Bug loving her new dress Aunt Mary sewed her! We can't wait to get those little bloomers on her and she seems to be just as excited about it:)

The beach baby

Last Saturday we decided was a perfect day to visit the beach. So, we packed up and headed over to Pacifica to meet Greg, Elizabeth, and Little Ruth for a barbecue. The weather was perfect and we got to introduce Little Bug to the ocean.

Too bad the water was really cold and this was the reaction we got.

She finally settled down when she got to sit next to Andrew.

And of course, here are the cute little cousins interacting!

Little Bug's eatings

Little Bug has decided she is sick of watching us eat at dinner and demanded to join the party. We don't let her grab too much, but we happen to eat a lot of salad and lettuce is fair game. She thinks it's a hoot to pick up a piece, give it a few chomps, and toss it to the ground. We seem to have come up with a solution on how to appease her 'I want to eat with you' demands.





Little Bug also happens to love love love rice cereal. In fact we've tried to spice it up with bananas, apples, and prunes (at different times of course) and she won't go for it. The best part is, she always lets us know when she's ready for her next bite. She signals by sticking her tongue out as far as it can go.

One down thirty one to go

Little Bug's first tooth broke through! Andrew was putting her to bed when she started chomping at his neck. Well...the sharp pinches felt like more than just gums. Sure enough, when we took a peek inside her mouth, there was the tip of a little razor sharp tooth.

Little Bug was also getting bored with the baby gym, so we pulled out her exersaucer. We think she was quite grateful for the change because this is the look she gave us when we plunked her in.


Maybe she was just excited she had both parents standing over her ready to ooh and aw at every moment, but we think she liked it. In fact, every time she gets up in the morning, or wakes up from a nap, she eyes her exersaucer until happily placed in it.
