Every time I stick a bow on Bitsy this is what happens. Sigh.

stitches
The day came, having a child who needed stitches. Thursday, Tank was running around happy when he suddenly slipped and fell smack dab on the corner of our back sliding door. Before looking at the wound, I knew he would need stitches. Bitsy at this point was already screaming for her lunch, so I called for some reinforcements, Andrew.
While at the doctor, Andrew started becoming quite queasy at the sight of Tank's wound. So much so, the doctors became more worried about him than Tank! He was in a cold sweat, very pale and wobbly. The doctors had to help hold him up and get him a coke! In the end, Andrew waited in the car with the other two kiddos while I went into the doctor's office with Tank. Sometime during all of this, I recalled the story of when Andrew was thinking of becoming a MD. He was at a local hospital witnessing a spinal tap when suddenly he passed out cold.
Lesson learned on this one, do not call Andrew when bodily injuries are involved.

first day
I thought I would commemorate my first day alone with three kiddos with a picture. Things are going just fine and there has not been an increase of tears around here...by the kids or me! Plus, Little Bug just got registered for kindergarten this morning! Time flies and sometimes I wish I could just press the pause button.
