awesomeness

There are too many things about this photo that I love.

teeth

This little one popped her two bottom teeth this week. We are all relieved she is sleeping again.

chewer

Bitsy is a major chewer. Blankets, her fingers, my fingers, burp cloths, anything she can get her cute little hands on.

cooking

As soon as Tank hears any clank of a kitchen pot he is there by my side to help. Usually, he resumes his role as official taste tester and stirrer. Here he is both tasting and stirring some jello. He thought it was pretty yummy and wondered why we don't just drink jello.

3

It is hard to believe, but Tank turned 3 this past week. We love having a 3 year old around here! He adores anything related to cars/trucks, spends a good majority of the day running around naked, can be quoted saying several times a day, "do you want to play with me for just a one minute?" while holding his index finger up, and always wants the "whole bag" or "box" or "bowl" of any food item (the other week he wanted the entire serving bowl of rice at dinner and was very distraught when the rest of us had the nerve to take a portion). We've got a pretty cute and sweet little guy on our hands!

He blew out all the candles on his own this year and was pretty surprised when the fire went out!

hands

I love whenever I am feeding Bitsy she grabs onto my hands with all her little might.

one tooth down

Bug lost her first tooth this morning! She is pretty excited and has big plans for the tooth fairy tonight.

visit

Papa and Grandma Duffin came for a visit! It was so fun having them here.

blessing

Bity's blessing day came and went. It was such a beautiful day spent surrounded by family. I love the tradition we have of gathering together for baby blessings. Bitsy was fortunate to have my mom sew her dress and Andrew's mom crochet her booties. And I love that her outfit was pink!

little ballerina

Little Bug had her annual ballet recital last weekend. It was so fun to watch her on stage. When we first signed her up for dance, I was pretty sure it would not last. However, Bug loves to pretty much dance everywhere she goes, down the hall to her room, to the car, in the grocery store. Everywhere. It is pretty sweet. I guess for the time being, we have a little ballerina. This year she was also doubly lucky to have both grandmas, papa and a bunch of little cousins come to see her dance.
